PAM Trial: Feasibility study of Psychedelic Microdosing-Assisted Meaning Centred Psychotherapy in advanced stage cancer patients

We invite Māori and non-Māori who have an advanced cancer diagnosis to participate in a new treatment for anxiety, depression, and cancer-related distress.


Your contribution will help us to develop a new treatment to improve the mental wellbeing of cancer patients.

The study involves attending one screening visit to the University of Auckland, receiving either a low dose of a psychedelic or a placebo to take over six weeks and seven weekly sessions of psychotherapy. Participants will receive a $200 voucher as reimbursement for their time.
